The monument is located in Fairview, KY where Davis was born June 5, 1808.

Height is 351 feet and is the world’s tallest concrete obelisk. It was scored to make the concrete look like the Washington Monument which is made of marble and is 555 feet.

The monument was started in 1917 and completed in 1924 after being stopped during WWI. Cost was $275,000 all from donations.
